SuGaR cOOkiEs

Yum! We had a fun playdate with some friends and made sugar cookies. The kids loved it and did a really good job. Porter was a pro at rolling out the dough and cutting the cookies out. Kynnady was an amazing froster and Harper liked licking all the frosting. The cookies turned out wonderful! We have had so much fun getting ready for Christmas. We are all getting so excited.

Gingerbread House

The kids decorated a lovely gingerbread house. For every candy they placed on the house they ate at least 7 pieces. I took a little video and I asked Harper where the house was- then she opened her mouth to show me. I love that they are getting so big and that they are able to have fun doing fun holiday activities.

sledding

The kids got new sleds to use in the snow last week. They had a blast!

MaKEuP

Harper got into Kynnady's fashion faces. It's a kit that you trace faces, color, and then add makeup. Instead Harper decided to put the makeup of herself. I think she was going for the Lady Gaga look :)

Crazy

I am a terrible photographer. I wanted a cute picture of the kids and this was the best I could do. They are all so silly!
I don't have a good reason for not blogging :( But these 3 kiddos have definitely been keeping us busy. Kynnady is doing a wonderful job in kindergarten and she is loving learning to read. She has made lots of new friends that she loves to play with. The twins are very independent and into EVERYTHING! Porter is such a curious boy. He loves to figure out how things work. He loves water and has finally started to outgrow his curiosity for the water spout. One day he got into the tub 3 times with his clothes on-silly boy! Harper loves to do anything her big sister does. She speaks very well and acts way too grown up. We are enjoying the holiday season. The kids are at such a fun age. I can hardly wait for Christmas!

Reflections

Kynnady painted a beautiful picture for the reflection contest at school. The theme was "Together we can." She painted a picture of her and her daddy picking up garbage and putting it into recycling bins. She did such a great job. We were able to go to an award ceremony where is was chosen for student favorite and she was also chosen to move onto compete at the district level.

Halloween

We had a cute Moroccan dancer, a monkey, and little lady bug at our house this year. We had a fun time enjoying the festivities this year. We went to a corn maze, pumpkin patch, Kynnady's school parade, and of course trick-or-treating. The kids loved carrying their baskets door to door and they didn't even mind the rain. Porter was so funny at the doors because he didn't want to leave. I think he kept thinking we would go in and visit or something. Kynnady really enjoyed this year too because last year she was really sick on Halloween and she didn't get to go trick-or-treating. And I'm pretty sure with the loot we got we will all be in a sugar coma for about 2 weeks :)

Montrose, CO

We finally made it Montrose to visit my brother and his family. We had a great time. It was really fun to see their city and beautiful house. We were able to get our eyes checked by the BEST ophthalmologist-(thanks)! We spent a few days with them and then Ky and my brother and dad went hunting and my sister-in-law had a fun girls trip planned so they took off. This meant that the kids and I got to hang out with their kids. My kids were in heaven spending the weekend with their cousins. We were able to go to a really fun pumpkin patch and we also enjoyed spending time watching them practice/play soccer. It was so worth the drive. And I'm so glad Ky didn't get eaten up by the bear that they saw while hunting. We had a great little get away which was much needed since the twins moved to toddler beds (they were climbing out of their cribs), opening doors, turning on/ off the lights, etc. They are into everything right now. Thanks for the great time Shad and Jen!

Twins 2nd Birthday!

The twins are two! They had a really fun birthday. They LOVED being sang to and all the extra attention. We started out the day with mickey mouse pancakes and candles. Then we headed to Kynnady's soccer game. We had a fun little picnic for lunch and Porter fell and cut his lip, so the rest of the day he had a fat lip :(After a good nap we had a little family mickey mouse clubhouse party. They got spoiled! They liked opening up their presents but I think they were happiest with some suckers they got. They are such great kids. I can't believe how fast the last two years have flown by. We are so lucky to have them. We love you Porter and Harper! Happy Birthday!

Kynnady 1st race

Kynnady ran in her first 1 mile race. She did really awesome. It was so much fun to be able to run with my girl! Ky was a little disappointed that he wasn't able to run this time, but I think his ankle is getting a lot better now. He has had a TERRIBLE infection that we figure he got from a spider bite. We are so proud of her.

Porter

This boy is all boy. Porter loves to run, climb, and play in the dirt. He is so sweet and lovable. He gives the best hugs and kisses. He loves to ride his bike and wave to all the neighbors and blow them kisses. He has become a kind of picky eater and he will decide if he will eat something even before it gets close to his mouth. He is starting to say a few more words. Both babies continue to sleep well and are just good, happy kids. I can't believe next month they will be celebrating birthday #2!

Harper

This little girl is so stinkin cute! She is super smart and tries to do everything like her sister. She talks really well. Harper still is a really good eater and loves most everything we give her. She loves to paint like a dog to show us that she wants some. I hope she'll eventually grow out of that, although its really funny. She likes to jump on the tramp, do sidewalk chalk, kick the soccer ball, and play with her babies. She is all sugar and spice and we love it!

Bath Time

I love bath time with kids (probably because I know bedtime is approaching) :)They love to get out and roll into in balls in their hooded towels and when I am ready to dress them they run all over the house. They are crazy- but oh so cute!
