One of Each!

Today I went back to the doctor. Kynnady has told us from day one that there are 2 babies in mommy's belly and that one is a boy and one is a girl. We have known for awhile now that we are having twins, but today we found out that Kynnady is right again. We will be adding a little BOY and a little GIRL to our family. We are so excited! The babies are growing and looking healthy. They are measuring just right for their gestation! So far so good! My brother Ryan and his wife Brinley had their little girl this morning. She weighed 8-9 and was 20.5 inches long. I can't wait to meet her. Congrats! Above is one of the ultrasound pictures from today. Our girl is on the left and our boy is on the right. Sorry it didn't come across very clear.

Ky's cast is OFF!

Ky got his cast off today! I'm so glad. He is supposed to wear a soft cast for 4 more weeks. Now he can enjoy all of his favorite activities. Sounds like we will be swimming this weekend!

Happy Mother's Day

Being a mom is so great!!! I've had such a great weekend. My husband knows how to spoil me. It started last week with an early Mother's Day lunch and pedicure with Ky's mom and sisters. We had a great time, who wouldn't? We needed to celebrate early because Ky's mom is spending the week in Cancun with her sisters. I'm so grateful to her for raising such a wonderful son. I couldn't ask for any better. Saturday we had a picnic up at Cosy. It was fun to just spend a little time up in the mountains together. Then Ky made a wonderful dinner. Ky and Kynnady gave me some awesome presents to help pamper my growing figure. I got this wonderful maternity support belt, that makes my back feel great and a maternity support pillow. I've been sleeping better already. I'm going to need to rest up before these babies are born. Both gifts are highly recommended! Thanks, babe! Today we had my parents and Grandma Taylor over for a Mother's Day lunch. It was nice to spend time with them. I had this great idea that I'd bake my Great Grandma Patterson's home made bread for my mom and grandma. Lets just say I have way more respect for her and her baking skills. My bread ended up in the trash. My great grandma baked something everyday and it was always delicious. Sorry Grandma Patterson, I tried. I am so grateful for my mom and all she does for me. I'm so glad that I have the opportunity to be a mother. I truly love it. Its scary thinking of adding two more babies in the mix of our family, but I feel really blessed that Heavenly Father is sending them to us. I just hope I can do half as good of a job that my mom, grandma, Ky's mom, etc. have done!

Enjoying Spring

We have been trying to enjoy the warmer weather lately (when we can get it) and spend more time together outside. Bring it on...I love spring and summer. Kynnady loves being outside, especially at the park, playing soccer, or on the tractor with her daddy. Saturday morning Ky left early and got his dad's tractor to do some more yard work. I got woken up by a cute little girl saying, " Mommy, daddy did it, he got grandpa's tractor. Let's go see him, come on, come on, get up." She loves being with her dad. It makes me fall deeper in love with both of them seeing how much they love each other. On Tuesday we took Kynnady on the new Frontrunner. We had a good time. She already wants to go back again. Ky is kind of excited to use it to go the aution-it'll be good if it saves time and money:)
