A Hokey Pokey Accident

Last night Kynnady really wanted to read/play her Hokey Pokey Elmo book for a FHE game. She talked about playing this all day. After the lesson she ran to get her book. Ky was on the first page, reading the first "And you turn yourself around," when Kynnady got tripped up. She fell (so hard) head first into the glass coffee table. I thought for sure we'd see blood. I felt so bad. She was really tough, but she did a number on her ear. It was immediately black and blue. The back side of her ear is ALL bruised too. The picture doesn't quite do it justice. It is one of the worst feelings ever to see your kid get hurt. I'm glad she is ok and so tough. She is such a sweetheart! I just hope I will be able to survive all 3 kids boo-boos!

Personalilty

....I think our kids have it! I tried to capture a little video of the babies to show off thier cute smiles, laughs (sorry the sound didn't come across), and personalilties. Anyone who knows Kynnady knows she likes attention and is quite a GiRly GiRl. She came up with these poses herself. She was getting ready to go to tumbling.

Rested

I'm so glad to report that we are finally getting more SLEEP at our house. The babies are really good babies, but it has taken some time to coordinate their sleep patterns. Harper has been a good sleeper for a month or so, but that hasn't helped too much because Porter likes to wake up and eat. Last week we put them to bed in their own cribs and they are doing better. Last night we got 5 straight hours! We are feeling good! Here a few pictures from the last week or so.

3 Months

The twins turn three months old today. They are really growing and showing us more personality everyday. They are both really good babies. Harper will smile at anyone who looks at her and she is a good sleeper. She is so happy (most all of the time), and Porter is a bit more serious and laid back. He is a great baby and will melt your heart with his smiles (did you see that smile in the pic. with Harper:) so cute!). They both have started laughing and reacting to toys. Just the past few days it seems like they have figured out that they have hands. They stare at them like ....wow! what are a these. I think they are both about 24in and 11-12lbs. What a great time we have had with them so far. We couldn't love them more!
