Happy Father's Day!

I'm so blessed to have the best Fathers in my life. I always knew I was snagging a great catch with Ky, but I never could have imagined just what a great dad he would be. He spent part of last week at scout camp and it was so cute to see the kids faces when he came home. Cute Kynnady followed him EVERYWHERE he went all day, which she'll usually try to do whenever she can anyways. We had fun planning our gifts and activities for daddy this year. Kynnady is getting really talented with her art projects. She is a great colorer and she is really able to write well. Ky, we all adore you! Thanks for everything. You really are the BEST! WE LOVE YOU!



I'm also grateful for my wonderful dad and father-in-law. Thanks for always being there and all you do for us. We love you so much!

And this Father's day my heart is especially full of love for my Grandpa Saunders. He passed away tonight :( He was a great man. Although he will be missed, how beautiful is it when someone lives a good, happy, successful life and to know that we can be together again. I'll forever be thankful for him and glad that he raised an amazing son, my dad. Love ya!

8 Months

8 months! Wow! Our babies are growing so fast! Here is a little update on what the twins are up to!

Harper
She is sooo sweet. She is friendly and smiley, but she gets shy and will bury her head when others are playing with her. She is starting to CRAWL! She loves to get up on all 4 and rock and back and forth. She also loves to straighten her legs and try to crawl. She loves to eat, but not as much as Porter! She is a good sleeper and still is toothless.


Porter
Port-Dog! He is a friendly, happy baby who loves to smile at everyone!!! He does a great army crawl and combined with rolling he can get himself anywhere he wants to go. He is starting to fill out a little more and lately he LOVES to eat. Porter is now a good sleeper too and still just has 2 bottom teeth.

Growing Up!!

Our babies are growing up. Today I put away some more baby things (like swings and bouncers). It is bitter sweet because I love the sweet, newborn and little baby stages when their personalities begin to show, but now they are so full of life and I love watching learn new skills. They are both so sweet and we love them so much.

Last year we got the bulk of our yard put in but we still have a little more to do. Yesterday Ky and I tackled the flower beds and put down bark. Here are a couple before and afters. It looks so much better, but I still can't wait until we are fully done!!!

Seriously, who wouldn't love being these three cute kids mom?

I swear I have the three best kids in the world. I'm totally enjoying being a stay at home mom with them right now! I don't don't want to miss a minute with them. Don't get me wrong I often have moments that are CRAZY! and not so good, but overall I think being a mom is awesome! This year I loved being woke up with Kynnady saying "Happy Mother's Day, you are the best mom in the whole wide world." I also loved hearing her sing in sacrament meeting. She did an awesome job.


This year I'm again thankful to my mom and Chris for all they do for us! We couldn't ask for better. And thanks Ky and the kids for spoiling me :)

7 months

I don't remember time ever passing as quickly as it is now. We are at the 7 month mark with the twins. They are continuing to grow and change daily. Porter now has his 2 bottom teeth coming in. He has been an angel. They both are scooching on their bellies and I think they will be crawling before long-and I'm not quite sure how I'm going to handle that :) They are such great kids. We are so blessed!
