10 Months

Well another month has quickly passed by and now the twins are 10 months old. I can't believe it. They will be 1 before I know it. I remember last summer trying to picture what life would be like with twins this year. It has been so much BETTER than I could have dreamed. It has been busy, but their cute little personalities make up for it all. We love them so much.
I love watching them play because there is such a difference with having a boy and a girl. I don't even know how to describe it. Porter likes to hammer his toys, play with the door stops, open and close the door, and try to figure out how things works. Harper is a busy little thing, she likes dolls, climbing up on things, and books.
They both love Kynnady's microphones, tea set, and playing in her room. Harper has 2 bottom teeth and now Porter has 3 top teeth and 2 bottom. They wave bye-bye and give kisses. Harper babbles and Porter squeals-its so funny. Harper is really steady on her feet and cruises around the furniture, but doesn't really like to walk with help yet. Porter still mostly army crawls and he is getting better at pulling up to furniture. They are amazing little kiddos and every day they learn more and more...and we love them more and more.
A couple pictures of them playing and their gorgeous big sister, Kynnady.

the fair

We took the kids to the fair. Kynnady is at such a fun age. She loved it. She milked a cow, brushed and combed a bull, rode a pony, got her hand painted, fished for a prize, played a basketball game, watched a kid rodeo, and saw tons of animals. I love watching the excitement in her eyes.

Dash and Diesel

I forgot about these cute pictures we had taken and I wanted to share them. They were taken at the begining of summer. A great photographer-Marissa Vargason, shot our kids for an amazingly cute clothing line called dash and diesel. Super cute stuff!!!

Mailman

We bouncebacked at Lagoon. This time the babies came with us and I brought the camera. We had another great day. Kynnady was able to ride even more rides and she had a great day with her cousins. We even took the twins on the merry-go-round. In the afternoon we saw people gathering around a tall, black, man getting autographs and pictures. He had a hat on and my eyes aren't the best so I asked a kid who just left visiting with him who he was. He told me Michael Jordan. I was like sweet, come on Kynnady lets go get a picture for daddy (Ky was at work). When I got closer I realized it was the Mailman, Karl Malone... still cool though. He was really nice and we got a quick picture. I guess it was his birthday. The funny thing is I'm not sure if the kid I asked was messing with me or if he was dumb. My guess is the second :)

Gorgeous George

Ky and I enjoyed a date night and went to the George Strait concert. We had a great time. It was fun to see him again in concert, since the last time we saw him we were in 9th grade. :) Good times- thanks babe!

9 Months

Wahoo! 9 months! The babies are in such a busy stage right now but they really are a blast! Two mobile babies can be crazy at times, but it is so much fun to watch them interact and learn. They are both crawling and pulling themselves up on things. Porter still does the army crawl and he rocks back and forth on his hands and knees. Harper is a goer- she is so fast. Harper says "mama" and we've heard a few "dadas" from both of them. They love their baths and swimming, stroller rides, and anything Kynnady does. They both enjoy almost all their baby food, especially Porter. They eat sooo much!! Porter still has the two teeth on bottom and Harper still doesn't have any- I think she will soon though. Here are a few recent pictures of them. At the bottom I included a picture I took the other day after Kynnady feed them some raspberries-yep it was quite the mess!
